Luke’s First Show!

On April 29th, we headed south to Kalispell, Montana, for our first show with Luke (Hot Crossed Buns Saint Laurent), the Glacier Rabbit Breeders’ annual spring Glacier Lily Show.

It was a great learning experience and my sister and I had lots of fun. We especially enjoyed seeing all of the other breeds, some of which were quite rare!

I entered Luke in shows A, B and C, and though he didn’t win any ribbons, he did earn some points.

Luke took home second place in the broken pattern group in Show A under judge Allan Ormond, who just so happens to be a fellow Holland Lop breeder!

In Show B, Luke was awarded third place in the broken pattern group under judge Jeremy Collins.

Judge Cathy Ozura also placed Luke in third in the Show C broken pattern group.

Even though we didn’t win anything, we still had a blast and met lots of awesome people.
