SALES POLICY

Please ensure you read the sales policy before purchasing a rabbit from me! All sales will be conducted in line with this policy. Note that this policy may change at any time without prior notice.

Payments:

  1. Prices are based on the quality of the individual rabbit, meaning you will see a range of prices within the same litter.
  2. If you would like to place a specific rabbit on hold, a 50% deposit is required. The remaining amount is due at pick-up, or just before if you are using transport services. Deposits are non-refundable, unless the sale must be cancelled due to health issues with the rabbit.
  3. Prices are firm.

General:

  1. I reserve the right to keep any rabbits from a litter.
  2. All rabbits will come with transition feed and a pedigree or birth certificate (dependent on the quality of the animal).
  3. All rabbits will be tattooed in the left ear prior to leaving my rabbitry.

Health:

  1. I will never sell a rabbit that I know is injured or unhealthy in any way. Once the rabbit leaves my rabbitry, however, I can’t guarantee health as the rabbit is no longer under my care.
  2. Under no circumstances will a rabbit go to their new home before 8 weeks of age.

Breeding:

  1. If you choose to breed a rabbit you purchased from me, please keep their original name on future pedigrees you create.
  2. My rabbitry name should appear on pedigrees as Sir Lopcelot’s. For example, if the rabbit’s original name is Joe then the pedigree should read Sir Lopcelot’s Joe.

Showing:

  1. I can not make guarantees as to how rabbits you purchase from me will do on the show table. Just because an animal is sold as show potential does not mean I am guaranteeing it will do well.
  2. I will always disclose any faults or disqualifications that I am aware of prior to the sale of the rabbit.

Pet Quality:

  1. Rabbits that are deemed as pet quality are those that would likely not be useful in a breeding program and are not show quality.
  2. Pet quality rabbits will not be sold with a pedigree, but I will include a birth certificate.
  3. I do understand that some rabbits mature at a different pace than their littermates. If you believe that a rabbit I initially sold as pet quality has matured in such a way that it would be suitable for breeding or showing, then please contact me and we can discuss the issuing of a pedigree. Should a pedigree subsequently be issued, a $15 fee will apply.
